I was born and raised in California. I grew up as an Asian-American, or ABC (American Born Chinese). I'm from a family who enjoys art. My grandma was a gallery artist and a hobby artist: making large oil paintings, wooden animal sculptures, and animal yarn pictures. My father enjoys Chinese brush painting. My children love art too- drawing, painting, collages.

I believe in dreaming BIG and that means illustrating children's books, ones that my children would love to read over and over. I enjoy drawing colorful whimsical children and animals using pencils, colored pencils, watercolor, and gouache paints.​

I am available for illustrating board books, picture books, early readers, beginning chapter books, magazine illustrations, and products (cards, toys, games, clothes) for children. My dream collaboration is with Disney.​
